Join us as we discuss Elfrieda "Freddy" Hiebert's book, Teaching Words and How They Work: Small Changes for Big Vocabulary Results. We know vocabulary is a critical key to comprehension, and this study will help us know which words to teach and how best to teach them. This week: Chapters 5 and 6 with Sarah Rowse-Borrelli - multiple meanings and uses of words, plus vocabulary networks of narrative texts.
